To exchange, to bring something together at one point, to unify - that's what the Latin concept "conferre" stands for. The project KonFerenz by Joachim Krohn and Marc Bornée is characterized very well by its name: the musicians combine spacious harmonies, a bass-line both impulsive and groovy and the soulful voices of different guest singers in their "KonFerenzRaum" while bringing this blend to a very non-chalant point, in fact to a jazzy, loungy point.
This "conference" has been taking place for seven years, to celebrate collective compositions.
The musicians live in different parts of Germany (Berlin, Kassel, Munich) and cooperate in other projects as well.
Conspiratively, KonFerenz cooperates with different guests. Vocalists, drummers and guitarists bring new influences to the project, bringing immense freshness to the sound-experience.
